Author Guidelines

Policy: The honourable Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Members and the Publisher are very committed to build the International Journal of Graph Theory and Its Applications (ISSN 2454-4779) as a leading international journal in the next few years. Besides the basic aim of publishing high quality peer-reviewed research articles, sufficient care is given to the timely disposal of the articles received for publication. Generally, we make a decision on an article within six months and publish the article if duly recommended by the editor/experts in an upcoming issue of the IJGTA. Articles are accepted for publication and published solely on the basis of merit.

No article processing charge for E-reprint: When the article is published, the author will receive one E-reprint (pdf file) of the published paper. For printed reprints authors may place their order to the publisher during proof correction/prior to publication. If any author or author group wants to publish their article as an open access article, then pdf file of that particular paper will be available on the website free to view and download. The publisher will charge for publishing that particular paper as an “Open Access Article”.

Research articles, survey papers, review articles, and notes are welcome. Papers should be written in English. The first page of the paper must contain: title, author names, emails and affiliations, abstract, and keywords (separated by commas). AMS subject classifications should be included after the abstract and keywords in the manuscript. References should be listed alphabetically by the first author's last name, and formatted as

l   For a book:

B. Bollobás, Extremal Graph Theory, Academic Press, New York, 1978.

l   For a paper in a journal:

A.L. Barabási and R. Albert, Emergence of scaling in random networks, Science 286(5439)(1999), 509–512.

l   For a paper in a contributed volume:
L. Lovász, Perfect graphs, in: L.W. Beineke and R.J. Wilson Ed., Selected Topics in Graph Theory 2, Academic press, London, 1983, 55-87.

Manuscripts will be considered on the condition that they have been submitted only to the International Journal of Graph Theory and its Applications, that they have not been published already, and that they are not under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. All published research articles in this journal will undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees. After screening by the Editors-in-Chief, articles will be sent to referees/members of the editorial board for their opinions. Once we get clear recommendation for publication, the paper will be published in a subsequent issue.
